Have you heard Julia Louis-Dryfus' new podcast? I heard it for the first time today not having any clue of the focus. After hearing her introduction of the podcast I am following it. She recognized that we rarely hear from older women talking about their lives. Deciding to action she started the podcast Wiser Than Me to have conversations with older woman in hopes of learning and sharing from their experiences.
I started with her first show with Jane Fonda and it did not dissapoint. First off the conversation was great, but one of the things that I loved most was that everything went wrong. In her first interview with an icon Julia lost power. Jane was unaware and kept speaking to no one and Julia freaked out a little. The loss of power forced them to conduct the interview at a later time. Instead of pretending that it never happened Julia left in her freak out and Jane realizing she was talking to no one. I LOVED that! My only regret is that I didn't get to hear what Jane had been saying. My favorite take away from this episode came from the pre-disaster portion when Jane was discussing her third act.

Let me know what you think? I will let you know if I hear any great interview.
